As part of strengthening Arabic language capabilities in Comoros, the Minister of National Education, Bacar Mvoulana, concluded a training course in Arabic for Arabic language teachers at Imam Shafi’i Faculty, University of Comoros, and high schools on Thursday, October 10. This four-day training focused on Arabic teaching techniques and was conducted by Saudi experts. The project was supported by the King of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, through the “King Salman Center for Arabic Language.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his closing speech, the Minister emphasized the joint efforts of the Union of Comoros and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance the role of the Arabic language in the educational system and to develop teachers’ skills. He highlighted that Arabic is not just a language of instruction in our country; “it is an official language and an integral part of our cultural and civilizational identity. Therefore, strengthening its role in the school curriculum is a national duty.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also noted that training our Arabic teachers will help improve the quality of education and enable our students to communicate effectively in this rich language that connects us to the Arab and Islamic world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Minister, it is through cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, “which spares no effort to support the overall development of our nation, particularly in the educational sector,” that we reaffirm the deep fraternal ties that unite our two countries. “The support that Saudi Arabia provides for education in Comoros is a key pillar of our educational progress and development,” said Bacar Mvoulana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
